TOY DRIVE
‘Tis the season to enjoy the “Gift of Giving”
Last year was our first annual Toy Drive and Thanks to you, our residents, it was an amazing success. This year we would like to invite all residents to help make a child’s Holiday Season a little more memorable.
We have set up a gift box at the lobby or our main office, 2571 Robie St for any new toy or gift donation that you would like to make. Please do not wrap the gifts.
We will be accepting your generous gifts, from December 3rd-18th 2007, Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm.
All donations will be delivered to the IWK Children’s Hospital in time for their annual Christmas Party on December 20th, 2007.
Paramount Management has contacted the IWK to find out what type of gifts would be suitable. Please keep in mind that the boys and girls are between 1 month and 18 years of age. We have come up with the following wish list as a guideline.
WISH LIST
Infant to five years old
- Small Stuffed Animals
- Beanie Babies
- Soft Baby books
- Dolls
- Puppets
Six to thirteen years old
- Hand held games
- 20 questions games
- Coloring books
- Teddy Bears
- Harry Potter Books
- Board Games
- Dress up costumes
Fourteen to Eighteen years of age
- Hand held games
- Sudoku puzzles
- Jigsaw puzzles
- Trivia Games
- Novels
- Journals

CD’s (no vulgar language)
A gift is a gift and it is the thought that counts, so any donation will be appreciated. Please keep in mind that these children spend a lot of time waiting. A gift that only needs one player or a cuddly friend to keep them company would be ideal. There is a play area as well so board games and puzzles are always welcome as there are families to entertain during the holidays as well. We do not encourage any gifts or donations of a violent nature, such as guns and war games or music and novels with bad language. Please remember children are impressionable and sensitive.
